Interested candidates should indicate which expertise they can provide within their application. Based on the results, the trainers will be requested to provide multi-day traditional training on a specific topic to a group of representatives, and/or, the trainers might be requested to provide specific and targeted coaching sessions to one or two organizations. To be able to determine the needs of the participating organizations, Search is conducting a capacity assessment. By the end of the training period, the organizations should be able to set organizational goals and objectives, devise operational plans and systems (finance, procurement, logistics, M&E, HR, safeguarding etc…), understand basic fundraising and donor relations, build coalitions and relationships with strategic allies, and conduct strategic advocacy, enabling them to gradually increase their reach and influence. The purpose of this training is to strengthen their organizational capacities and operational efficiency to become competitive applicants to various funding opportunities. The goal of the organizational training is to support the WROs and YLOs in developing the needed skills and knowledge to sustain their work and if possible, expand. S/he/They will be under the direct supervision of the project coordinator and in close coordination with the local focal points to support in the implementation of the training sessions. The ‘Organizational Capacity Building Trainers’ will support the project participants in developing skills and retaining knowledge depending on the needs identified by Search. The project aims to 1) to consolidate Women Rights Organisations (WRO) and Youth-Led Organisations’ (YLO) strategic engagement and influence in municipal and national peace and reconciliation processes 2) to motivate key sub-national and national institutions to strengthen inclusive policies and standards facilitating inclusive youth and women’s participation in peace and security 3) to promote shifts in social norms around women and youth’s meaningful inclusion in peace and security at all levels, including stronger alliances with men and boys. The project’s overall goal is to strengthen women and youth’s meaningful, enduring participation in advancing inclusive peace and security in the Levant and Yemen.
